It "only" has 12x re-write....

Geez, I was happy with my 12/8/32, but when I see this I think I'm gonna save some extra money...just to say I can burn a cd in say...2 minutes?

DVD burners will replace CD burners. It's pointless to dish out anything over $150 now for a CD burner when DVD burners are just on the horizon.

The biggest problem I've seen with dvd burners is that the dvd ram discs are expensive. In a year or two the price might drop.

Sometimes I go to pricewatch just to look around for the hell of it even though I'm not really interested in buying anything. Dvd burners are less than 300 presently and will go down eventually.
