Gateway to Drop AMD Chips

I guess Fury won't be going to Gateway anymore


Computer maker Gateway will phase out using microprocessors from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and instead use those from Intel, the world's largest semiconductor maker, as the PC maker seeks to cut costs in the face of weak demand.

wouldnt that be considered an oxymoron. want to cut cost so they choose intel over AMD? aparently they havent had to really buy a P4 lately...

I never went to them in the first place except to be mildly amused at the kind of crap they were giving their vict...er..customers, but now I'll be sure and bash them every chance I get.
