I must be a non OS. The first question doesn't even work for me. I don't wake up late, because there's not a particular time that I have to wake up. I don't have to be at work in 30 minutes, because I don't have a job. And I have plenty of time to do my daily routine. :D

If I read that right. They don't hold up at that speed very long though. LOL, if it's over six months before you get it, they'll probably have a standard 4.5ghz out there.;)

I'm just doing what I can now, 'cause I may have to cut back a little when the next power bill comes.:D

50-60C on the cpu about 40c on the mobo. I've tried 2 differant power supplies.:confused: tyied diff mem, hd, video card. That mobo is the one I got from wetling that he said overheated. I'm guessing the northbridge is just weak.

Yeah my 1.2 tbird resets, locks, or restarts, when trying to run it. It works fine otherwise. I don't know if it's the PS, mem CPU, or mobo.:confused: I think it's the cpu, or mobo though. I'm thinking about trying Linux on it.:p

Neo, I can feel the heat off your tailpipe now.:D I'm gonna try to get the serving computer setup today, a PII400. I haven't tried to setup genome on a Linux box yet. Maybe it won't be any harder that it is in windose. Also It looks like we might take 2 more postions today.:p

I really don't know if it will be faster than running individual programs. I assume that it will, maybe, because it won't have as much stuff running in the background. I just found out though that all but the newest versoins of Linux (which are designed for higher end processors) were...
